In this Spider-Man: Homecoming movie, Pete Parker attempts to balance his life of becoming a hero against the threat from Vulture. Last February 2015, Sony and Marvel Studios agreed to a deal of sharing spider man character rights, integrating the hero character at a more established MCU. By the month of June, Holland was chosen as the title character and Watts was chosen to direct the film.

The principal photography of the film started in June 2016 specifically at the Pinewood Atlanta Studio in Fayette Georgia and continued to be pictured in the city of New York.
